Shop the right way...

Ever wondered we too can have a posh kitchen at an affordable price. If not! Then here is the new website on the ranks, which gives us every inch of information in making our kitchen hood shopping great.

The shopwiki is a database of information for our kitchen. It gives various ranges of products starting from an ordinary storage box to a refrigerator to dish washer everything we need. The best thing about this is that it’s not compiled by anyone from the market place, it stands by its name “wiki” which usually we the user do all these write up about a product. It couples the reviews from various other market sellers also. So we can get very good idea about the product we are going to buy.

For each product the best deals offered by every company are listed and we have the pick of which we want. Another interesting aspect of shopwiki it gives an overall picture of a product even highlighting their disadvantages and advantages.

If anyone wants to make a sound investment in their kitchen I would highly recommend to visit shopwiki and get in with a lot of details about the product we want and then make a wiser choice.

if its console gaming!...then its right here...

I was thinking that gaming is just a child’s play and not for the grown ones. But I happened to stumble upon a website called savebuckets, which sells Nintendo Wii gaming consoles on the net. Since am not avid gamer I must concede, it was so surprising that there were so many Nintendo Wii gaming consoles that this site sells. For a layman who does not have much idea about gaming consoles and price ranges, I would really recommend this website. It was particularly interesting to note that this year’s most popular game is “Wi fit”.

The website gives the best deals anyone can have on the net. It compares the various price ranges of all the consoles from all over the net. Another stark thing about the website is, if we are not satisfied with the price put up at various console models, the website comes up with an option of “watch this product” where in it asks us to specify a price and whenever the price comes in that range it emails us back that the console price has come down. Though it deals primarily with the best in Wii Gaming consoles of Nintendo Wii. It also deals with other gaming consoles from different manufacturers. But majorly it’s Nintendo Wii. And the coolest thing about the website is it shows what other potential buyer saw after seeing a particular console; in this way we know what is the happening product in the gaming world. Well if you are planning buy a wii gaming console any sooner, then do check out the site for great deals!

EXAMS - WHAT ARE THEY FOR...???

Exams....Exams.....Exams.....What are these words, where did they come from...i dont have any idea...u have any??....from the day i reached the secondary education i lost all my battle for the first mark with my counterparts. That day i asked myself what are these exams goin to do my life?...are the exams the best judge of a students talent and potential...i would say a big NO!!...

Take a student who gets a aggregate of 90 and another student who gets a mere pass...what our society decides on the child who gets a mere pass...he is pushed back in all fronts...since because he gets a mere pass it doesnt mean he is unfit for education its actually the other way round the education becomes unfit for him.

We boast ourselves having educational institutions which are best in the world...but what are we doing in these institutions...we make the students cram...vying eachother for marks...we dont understand the inborn talent or the interset in a child in stead we all push them to our will...we are only concerend about how to get the top mark in the class...we don encourage the child to think on its own...the sense of marks gets into the child and it is not able to think on its own in stead it has to concentrate only on marks....

where are we headin???....is the question i ask myself whenever i sit for a exam...a student may mug all the facts and figures and reproduce it like a xerox copy in the exam..but what about the one who cant mug????....he may not have the ability of mugging but he may have the talent of remodeling a motor...but we dont encourage that we say the student is dull and average...

The system has to change we don need marks and grades to support our life we need something practical knowledge to sustain in this world...The greats in this world are not educated the biggest example was einstein...i am not saying education is ruthless and we need to boycott it completley...we need a radical change we need to throw away our useless grading and marking system and try and analyse the child based on its and talent and interest.

Are u obese..?..its time to reduce...

People are considered obese if their body mass index is greater than 30. If you are obese then its high time to reduce your weight and in order to reduce your weight it is best advised to consult a physician.

Very recently my friend who is obese told me about a site and I dropped in to check it. This site gives a clear idea on how to lose weight effectively. The site prescribes pills and gives honest opinions about the side effects that it may cause. It also prescribes about the top pills that people have bought recently.

These people who monitor the system look into large number of factors before grading the pills. They not only stop there they also tell the place where u can buy them genuinely. In my honesty opinion it’s a welcome service to everyone.

I was so astonished to see that Phentermine is actually if not taken under medical supervision is so injurious. Indeed it goes a step ahead and even allows people who have used the pills to actually post a review in the site, which is quite rare!. When I read some people's review about Phentermine, it sounded that they actually got very good results with that. All thanks to my friend who shared this vital piece of information with me.

Balle Balle Sehwag !!!.....

Wow!!...I must say i am so lucky to have seen an innings of the life time by Viru...for all the boring yesterday it was a visual spectacle today...The Nawab of Najafgarh completely dominated the day right from the first ball he took...Sehwag reached his century before lunch and he reached the double by tea and the triple by the evening...Viru is not about scoring runs...he is all about scoring runs at pace that is mind boggling...and the very exciting aspect of his innings is he is unperturbed by any of the bowlers...

What was amazing was the audaciousness he showed, just before the the lunch...the last ball was from Ntini....Sehwag just boomed the ball through the cover and without even looking at he turned back and went for lunch...and from 293 to 299 he flicked Ntini again...we all thought it was mis skewed, and for a moment we had our heart in our mouth....thank god it was again a trademark Sehwag six....

It was once in a lifetime innings and thank god I was there.....right time at the right place...

Hostles....Enjoyment

I have never seen a student life in hostels, when I came here to US it was so fun with group cooking, joking, films, peppy talks. It was so nice. But later on only realized that though everyone talks and chats, we all are on our own. Its in our hands to see what is good for us and what is bad for us. As well enjoying some people do their work too but some fail in that and just enjoy. Its where they go wrong. They just think life stops there but it doesn’t. I feel that being on our own gives us the added responsibility to match our skills and also to enjoy. We need to be smart, and think enjoyment alone will not guide u. Once time lost is lost. So hostels can make o break our career, its in our hand to see how good it is.

Assingnments - part 2

After my first week in the land of opportunities, life started rolling but there were bombs to come along. I have this subject in my school called algorithmic aspects of telecommunication networks. It deals with graphs flow control etc. After the first week the prof came and said this your project has been put up in web, please check out and the deadline is next week. My god! I was shocked, when I went and saw the project it just said implement this algorithm in any programming language of your choice. Shell shocked I started working for the project. It took me 3 days to figure out what the algorithm is even and den I started coding in java. The two days before the submission deadline, I dint sleep even a bit and after all the patch up works at the last I submitted the project just at the stroke of the deadline. I had a sigh of relief. Life what I dreamt and came is not the way here. it works the other way round. Hopefully I can come out well.

Straight from the carrington road - Rio talks the mood of the dresing room

Recently Rio Ferdinand was quizzed about the mood of the dressing room and the each players life style and the way the integrate themselves wit the team. Rio was seen egotistic with him being the best of the lot, in a lighter sense though. He came with this retort for the question thrown to him

The Best trainer: Scholesy. a good passer and his team always wins in training.

The Worst trainer: Wes (Brown) or Wazza (Rooney) . themselves for the prem.

Fittest member: Wazza or Ronnie. both are explosive players and can run at the same pace in the last minute as the they do in first.

Outrageous skill: Very Obvious… Ronnie. Nani tries hard. Ronnie wins Hands down.

Toughest tackler: Wazza, Vida and Scholesy. Maybe they don’t like their team-mates (lol).

Person who play out of position? No, the manager doesn’t let us. I used to play up front in training. But now stopped, think am terrorizing the defenders.

Sly Joker in the dressing room: The sly is really got to be Fletch. we never suspect him, but when something’s going on he is usually involved. Pique and Fletch are always at the centre of pranks with player’s clothes.

Intelligent player of the squad: Edwin.

Member you'd hate to have in your quiz team: God!!.. really its Ando (Anderson). He joined the club at the same time as Nani, Ando’s English is shocking. Nani holds television interviews in English and Anderson struggles to hold a conversation with the lads.

Best dressed in the team: Ronnie. He doesn’t just wake up, go into his wardrobe and throw something on. He tries really hard. Every day his clothes are a planned event.

Worst dressed in the team : Kuszczak! purely for the blue electric shirt he wore one night out . shocking!!. one of the worst colors I’ve ever seen. The most craziest thing is, he’d said saved it just for that occasion.

Best dressing room music: Mine. iPod has the greatest variety of music. there’s a mixture there. Some of the young lads don’t appreciate old Hacienda house music genre. Evra get s involved in selecting dressing room music. But he doesn’t have the variety and depth of music knowledge .

Aamir plays the prank....

Aamir Khan and his gang of friends were heading towards cinema hall to catch up for a movie. The gang had to stop in between for the passing group of people. The group also didn't want to stay long as they were getting late for a movie and at any cost they didn't want to miss the credits in the beginning. Incidently Aamir didn't react to it; he was cool munching BISCUITS and having an eye on the entire happening.

Suddenly Aamir gets an idea and the prankster Aamir comes up with an amusing stratagem to get hold of the situation. Aamir and his friends made people around them believe that they were carrying a huge sheet of glass so they needed space to move. The crowd, who earlier didn't allow them to move, now parted way for them and later after crossing Aamir laughs and reveals the prank and runs off to the cinema.

All these were shot in front of the camera for parle biscuits portraying a subtle comedy nature of Aamir.

Anuksha to pair with King...

The Great news in the tinsel town is the new pair who is set to star opposite with the King Khan is the Teenager Anuksha Sharma. The most awaited film of the year "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi" which is directed by Akash Chopra after a hiatus of eight years was trying to spot the heroine with a Punjabi look for the film. The grapevine was that there were three ladies in for the running among the one was the "Saawariya" starer Sonam Kapoor.

Akash Chopra even asked SRK to pick one of the three girls as his heroine, but the Baadshah had refused to do so, claiming he was “uncomfortable” in pick and choose matters. But the role has now gone to Begalorean girl Anushka, who is a regular ramp model for last few years and has also done ad campaigns for Whisper, Silk n’ Shine, and Fiat Palio.

Albeit she has no acting experience, the Chopras feel Anushka is best for the role of a Punjabi girl in the film. The film is set to go on the floors in mid May.The Chopras are eyeing a yearend release for the film.

Will Anuksha follow the likes of Deepika Paukone and march on to the center stage of the Bollywood…? Only Time will tell.

What is US...

The first day we arrived in US, the first thinking I thought had was I had to thrive on pizzas and burgers. But when I landed here I was surprised to see the amount of rice people get here. Let alone the rice the vegetables, the fruits, pickles and all other Indian food spices. Everything we name it we get it here and in Dallas area, we can hardly find the native Americans. Everyone who visits US finds there is not even a pinch of dirt in this country I found the reason they dont allow the sand to on top of the pavement, everywhere they grow grass and thus prevent the mud from flying.

Hipeee...Dis is Fashion Folks!!!...

The LG KF300 looks like any other trinket that a fashion-conscious person would love to have. But make no mistake; the ‘Wine’ phone packs a mean punch. With GPRS, USB, and Bluetooth connectivity, the LG KF300 can also meet the high-end technical specifications. Add to this a MP3 player and FM radio features and you have got a winner on your hands.

Available in black and pink colors, the LG KF300 has tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE radio, but no 3G connectivity....(WTF!!!!) Additional features include a Flash0based interface, USB 1.1 with Mass Storage compliance, microSD expansion and WAP 2.0.

A 2.2 inch internal display and 2 mega pixel camera with auto-focus complete the impressive range of features.

TATA goes Wi - Fi...

Tata Communications Limited, the new name for formerly state-owned Videsh Sanchar Nigam Limited(VSNL) is seeking new pastures in WiMAX technology based broadband services to target individuals and home computer users.

Wi-MAX is a next generation technology that provides high speed wireless Internet access and connects individual homes and business as far as 30 miles from the central site with long-range frequencies.

The international long distance carrier had commercially rolled out broadband WiMAX for corporate customers in Banglore last May.

A considerable amount of our capital expenditure of Rs 2250 crore for this year will be earmarked for the WiMAX broadband rollout, says Addapali

BSNL also recently announced expression of interest to roll out WiMAX based broadband in rural areas and is expected to launch services across cities in 2008. Besides, Dishnet is also an early player in the area.

Well I wonder...!!!

It has been nibbling for a long time,so have decided I better write it up... let me put this into two different perspective....

Take `1`

Scene : My house...Time: Immaterial as i was pissed off

Every time I see my servant maid in my house she will be accompanied with her grand daughter...think she would be around some 10...she brings her to my house for helping in her work.

I have asked her so many times "ur grand child will not go to school?...y are u spoiling her future..." she will retort back saying "money pa money.....its all our destiny"...

Though i was pissed off that reply...I gave up and had go away...

Scene Cut....

Take `2`

Scene : Somewhere near my room window....time : morning 9

Now there is a another kid of somewhat same age ...he is waiting clutching his mama hands for the driver to get the car...the driver arrives...opens the door for the kid...the kid sits comfortably...and waves to mama....now the car races off...

Scene Cut....

Now i thought about the other kid...this is where I began to think y is god so impartial...one kid is enjoying in the bask of its parents...another helping her granny in her work...Are we all not equal in the eyes of god...I am not atheist...well some times we go to a rationaly an think of even disputing him...but have to accept we are all goverened one sigle word "Destiny"...

Like Morgan Freeman says "Somethings are better left unsaid" in shawshank redemption...we cant keep on questioning the gods nature....which can never be explained or understood...but we cant keep seeing destiny rueing a child's future....the least we can do is give the child a free education...again it calls destiny to answer this!!

Well i wonder...!!!

C'mon!! This is CRASS....

I was wandering between websites and in you tube i found a video, which is actually a song featuring some Telugu actress Charmi. Well then, so much was ennui gobbling me that day and I played the video. As usual it took time for buffering and then it started. What followed was not the song but me laughing my guts out seeing that. Pathetic Telugu music, can’t they even a make a single tune of themselves.

Fine, Being a Tamilian I cant boast saying we are copyright perfect and no plagiarism in Tamil Music with people like Deva and his son ruining the good names earned by AR Rahman, Ilayaraja et. al. But one thing i can assure even if people copy they take few notes and insert it into theirs, No one would do a absolute rip off like what this idiot has done.

My God, I don know who the heck the music director is?... But he completely riped off Black Eyed Peas My hump..

One good thing is the words are at least changed...My hump becomes My heart....and I am gonna get u drunk becomes idiotic Telugu words...and something becomes... M A N T R A L A Y A M...What the hell is this..

For a country which boasts having people who have done so much to music like Madan Mohan, RD Burman, Ilayaraja, A R rahman. Seeing these songs makes me embarrassing. They are just CRASS!!

WTF!!!...they have started paying for surveys too...

I recently stumbled into a site...my god! they say the pay you for giving them surveys...marketing is good but whats all this...dunno for what will these idiotic firms star paying...it has always been nibbling me...whats this kind of marketing all about...if Shah Rukh comes for Tata are we really going to throw our set top box and buy that...and since because AIG sponsors Manchester United...we are not going run behind AIG for an insurance....and since because Reliance sponsors T20, we are not going throw our handset in trash and buy Reliance...no one in their right sense would do that.

I understand the basic need of advertising for generating an interest among the people and kindling the inquisitiveness...but don they have a saturation...nearly whole of India knows TATA, Reliance and i don have a clue why they putting so much money in advertising...juzz to show their finance muscle??...It keeps puzzling me and will always puzzle...

again well i wonder!!!

Karnataka film industry on Friday came to a halt with members of the film fraternity suspending production activity for the day and staging a protest call given by the Karnataka Film Chambers of Commerce (KFCC).

The strike was in response to the one day hunger strike by Tamil film stars and directors, producer’s association for the Hogenakkal water project. Those who took part in the protest included film personalities Ganesh, Darshan, Jaggesh, Upendra, Ravi Chandra, Tara, Ramya. Family members of late actor Rajkumar including Parvathamm Rajkumar, actor sons Puneet and Raghavendra were also present. Most of the stars requested people not to take law into their hands and handle everything in peace.

Scores of fans gathered outside the Town Hall here and cheered the stars as they spoke on the issue.

Tamil Cine Stars Go Fasting....

On bright Friday morning the entire Tamil cinema industry duly turned to out to extend their support on the perpetual problem of cauvery, between the Tamil Nadu government and the Karnataka Government. Almost the entire kollywood turned out for this cause.

The attacks have been linked by TN’s Hogenakkal water project, which is opposed by Karnataka as it is claiming that the area belongs to it. The Hogenakkal water reservoir project was aimed at stepping up drinking water supply for people in Tamilnadu`s Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri districts. The strike including a day long fast has been called for by Tamil Film Chamber of Commerce.

Top film personalities including Rajnikanth, Kamal Hassan, Vijayakanth participated in the fast. Rajni was criticized earlier for not supporting the Cauvery cause.

Rajni, who has history connecting to Karnataka owing to his birth, urged the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu to deal the matter immediately and find a solution. The strike started from morning 8 to and ended at 5 in the evening. Kamal Hassan showed his patriotism towards Tamil and Tamil people by canceling an important schedule in United States of America, to come and join his co stars.

Champs League Quartefilnal , Man Utd 2 - 0 Roma

What a thumping performance by Manchester united away from old trafford. It was a day when Roma badly need a win to avenge their 7 -1 marauding last year second round against the same rivals. It could not have gone bad for Roma right from the start losing their influential captain Francesco Totti and leading scorer for Roma this season.

The first half hour of the play was equally fought out tussle with chances going for both the team. It was great shock to see Vidic twisting his ankle and being immediately substituted by o'shea. When the was approaching the end of fist half both teams tried to unleash one of their forwards to edge out the other. United were successful when the old veteran scholes played looping ball to ronaldo who put that behind the net with a towering header. With the first half ending with united with a crucial away goal.

When the second half started, Roma had the better of united in their pursuit of pushing for the equalizer with christian panucci missing a sitter. But it was once again Manchester who had the final say and proved "if you don't take the chances we offer you are dead mate". With Roma committing to much into attack, their defense was asked questions by united when a loose ball was failed to clear by the defense it fell too rooney who just tapped in to make it 2 -0 for united.

With ronnie in the form of his life and 2 away goals in Roma, United can now look to semis with much confidence.

oohh.....Is this our Parthiban?

Parthipan has an uncanny sense of timing to coincide with the release of his new films.Partipan is right now all excited about Selvaraghavan’s magnum opus Aayirathil Oruvan in which he is doing an important role with Karthi and Reema Sen. He has grown his hair long to get into the skin of the character that he is playing and has lost a few kilos with strict diet and work-out’s. He looks so trim and perfect.

The main husk in this is the role which Parthipan actually donning was made with care Selvaragahavan's brother Dhanush, but due to some reasons Dhanush was replaced with Parthipan who is sure to make it memorable.

Dats Relativity Guys..

Few days back I stumbled upon some painting, first it was very different and then wow!...what a master piece they are. He had portrayed the relativity in a two dimensional sketch. Then I goggled who this maestro is and found him to be MC Escher.

Maurits Cornelis Escher referred as M. C. Escher, was a Dutch graphic artist, known for his mathematical woodcuts, lithographs and mezzo tints. These features of his are impossible constructions, explorations of infinity, architecture and tessellations.

Escher's first print of an impossible reality was Still Life and Street. His artistic expression was created from images in his mind. Some of his work also include Drawing Hands, a work in which two hands are shown, each drawing the other; Ascending and Descending, in which lines of people ascend and descend stairs in an infinite loop, on a construction which is impossible to build and possible only to draw using quirks of perception and perspective.

He worked primarily in lithographs and woodcuts, though the few mezzo tints he made are considered to be masterpieces of the technique. In his graphic art, he portrayed mathematical relationships among shapes, figures and space. Integrated into his prints were mirror images of cones, spheres, cubes, rings and spirals.

Escher did not have a mathematical training. His understanding of mathematics was largely visual and intuitive. Escher's work has a strong mathematical component, which he drew are built around impossible objects such as the Necker cube and Penrose triangle. Many of Escher's works employed tessellations. Escher's artwork is especially well-liked by mathematicians and scientists, who enjoy his use of polyhedra and geometric distortions.

Escher created periodic tessellations with 43 colored drawings of different types of symmetry. From this point on he developed a mathematical approach to expressions of symmetry in his art works. In 1937, he created woodcuts using the concept of the 17 plane symmetry groups.

Escher also studied the mathematical concepts of topology. He learned additional concepts in mathematics from British mathematician Roger Penrose. And in due respect to him he name the Penrose Triangle. From this knowledge he created Waterfall and Up and Down.

What's with this life..???

What is with this life?...Sometimes we except something to happen on its own...we keep on expecting and before even we realize whether it happened or not, we feel we are lost in a mist of other things....I still don't know why I am writing this and what I am writing in this...just that I felt like writing...

Last night I had a strange dream, I was hovering in the space screeching at the top my voice...I dunno why that came...I have no clue either...What I think and you think are different...obviously we both are different...If i wanted something from you..which I cant ask...how do I tell u I want?...If you cant understand what I think, I cant understand what you think...den how we ended up syncing in the first place?.

Something gobbles up me when ever I think of something...which I dunno what...suddenly gush of tears starts flowing...I try to control myself...but end up losing to myself...Is this what called humanness in us...That ability which are other things are devoid off...This ability which binds us into one...that four letter word....FEEL!!

I typed that word again I am lost within myself...Its all within me....

Well!!...Again its a one I wonder....

Balaji bajjis Punjab with a fiver....

What an inspiring spell of bowling form the local lad of the Chennai super kings. Laxmipati Balaji performed the first hat-trick of the Indian Premier League to help Chennai Super Kings make a double for the season by beating them by 18 runs. Balaji had a fiver, including a hat-trick in the death over of the match, and gave away just 24 runs in his four overs to stamp the authority of the CSK.

Earlier Yuvraj won the toss and decided to chase, His decision was proving to be apt when Sreeshanth promptly removed both the opener in his first two overs. But the Chennai team piled up a competitive 181 for four, thanks to the scintillating and responsible knock by Badrinath and Mahi.

Mahi especially was in a devastating mood and gave his own team man Chawla a taste of the Chennai heat when he carted him for 2 sixes in an over. With Chawla going for plenty, Yuvraj went back to his strike bowler Irfan Pathan but he was taken to the cleaners by Badri when pulled him of for 2 more sixes in an over. But again an inspiring spell from Sreeshanth and Hopes restored the hope for the visiting Kings with the last 5 overs yielding only 37 runs, With Chennai finishing with 181.

In response to the super king’s total, the compatriot kings threatened to run away with the game when Hopes started off from where he left in their home game with 6 over third man and boundary through the covers. In the next over crowd favorite Albie Morkel fortunately got rid of Hopes when edged to Dhoni. In the next over Gony removed Goel.

From then on it was Balaji show altogether. He provided crucial breakthroughs early with Sarwan and Marsh in one over and then got his hat-trick in the last over, in which the visitors required 27 runs for the victory.

Left hander Marsh hit a quick fire half-century but that was not enough to earn a victory for his team. Marsh's innings came off just 38-balls with three boundaries and 4 sixes including a towering one, which landed on the roof of the stadium, off Murali.

Once Marsh was gone it was down to he captain to get the Punjab through. But more disaster was waiting for the Punjab team as skipper Yuvraj too started his walk back to pavilion when he found Stephen Fleming in the point off Amarnath.

The Punjab Kings lost three wickets in space of seven deliveries and that wrote the fate of the Punjab team. Irfan and Chawla hit some lusty blows towards the end but that just helped in reducing the defeat margin.

In the last over Balaji deservedly took his hat trick by removing Pathan, Chawla and VRV in successive deliveries for which he was duly rewarded the Man of the Match as expected made him emotional as he was coming back after 2 years in the international scene from a career threatening injury.

Paanchi...Pass ya Fail...?

'Kya aap paanchvi pass se tez hain' heard of it...? It’s the new show where the King Khan is the host. The Show has failed to captivate the audiences and the sponsors have expressed their bleakness to the broadcaster about how the show has turned out, and have asked Star to reframe the whole show.

The Sponsors find the format is so diluted compared to the original ‘Are you a fifth grader’ on which Paanchvi Pass has been framed. They have also alleged that Shah Rukh Khan’s star quotient is overplayed in the show. The TRPs have not helped either. Paanchvi Pass has delivered ratings significantly lower than the ongoing Indian Premier League which is being aired on Sony Max, is the hot cake at the moment.

The head of a sponsor said: “The way the questions are structured is not very engaging and it’s quite different from the original show.” A member of the production team added that internationally the show has a lot of focus on education which is not seen in its Indian version and even the look and feel of the show is lot different.

Having 30% of Paanchvi Pass completed, Star is now making desperate amends to keep its sponsors happy. And hook the audience to the show than the IPL. The Star has thus offered its sponsor’s free advertising on the show’s re-runs on weekdays and a back-to-back three hour show on Sunday afternoons. Sources say Star has made Rs 140 crore through ad revenues and it end up making about Rs 150-160 crore in all from of the show.

The Final Frontier

What should have been a walk over victory for Manchester United 3 weeks ago has now gone down to the wire. The Defending Champions were held to a series of stalemates and the slip up at Stamford Bridge has brought back Chelsea into the contention for the title. United were leading Chelsea by 5 points but now both are on locked on to same amount of points with united sniffing ahead on goal differential. United are in this position courtesy of themselves for having led the lead slip up and allowing Chelsea to come breathing down their neck.

The draws against Boro, Spurs coupled with a poor start to the season with a series of 3 stalemates with low profile team have resulted in this nervy time. But its once again due to the number of 4-0, 4-1, 3-0 wins have put United ahead on the goal difference.

Also both are in the Champions league final in Moscow on 21st. Who ever wins the league can go with a bit of confidence over the other.

Both teams play on 11th of May with their respective opponents and if United win its all over for Chelsea. But there is catch, United play away against Wigan in JJB, where the visitors can have a torrid time because of the state of the pitch. Where as Chelsea play home against struggling Bolton aiding to the fact is that Chelsea are unbeaten for more than 100 home games.

United have shown the best attacking skill and flamboyance in the whole season and rightly deserve to retain the title. I fully support United to go and win the league...Go red devils!!!

Google Goes Hindi.....

Google the most used translator in the internet goes for Indian Lingo. Google has added Hindi to its translating repertoire.

This desi add on of Hindi is much to the delight of Indians. Google capitalizes on the fact that most Indian who use internet don understand the queens language. Now, users can translate text, web page and issue a query in Hindi in order to obtain the information they desire.

The most interesting thing is that a user can type Hindi using a regular keyboard. Suppose, a person wants to type ’America’, he can type it in English and after hitting the space bar, the word Amercia is converted to Hindi language.

As the saying goes the proof of the pudding lies in its eating. the effect of google's new add on is in my blog itself... Rock on!! Google..

Emma' s Ping Pong

The Harry Potter series star Emma Watson is into playing table tennis with her co stars. She is so well that she is thrashing everybody. Currently Emma is busy shooting for the Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, and in between shoots she is playing table tennis and her co stars feel embarrassing to play with her as they area always losing to her.

It seems ping - pong comes naturally to her. ping - pong reminds me yet another person - Tom Hanks in Forrest Gump. Just a wild fantasy match between Forrest Gump and Hermoine...should see who wins...my money is on Emma...have always had hots for her...lol

AAMIR ON STAGE AFTER A DECADE

After the stupendous success of Taree Zameen Par, Aamir who has refrained from awards and star night for nearly a decade as decided to accept the the Best directional Debut award from Gollapudi Sreenivas Memorial Foundation.

Why this sudden change of mindset for Aamir...its because the jury of the award was none other than our Kamal Hasan. When one perfectionist is dedicating an award to another perfectionist, it does tell our movie ranks are going up.

It takes a person of Kamal's caliber and reputation to bring down a person like Aamir. Thats where the two geniuses stand out from the rest.

Chennai Test Match - Day 2 - Mixed Day for the Indians - Exclusive pics

Like the first day, the second day was no different to the Indians. Indians were made to toil hard for every wicket. The proteas should be congratulated for putting price on their, even bowler like Morne morkel was dealing a veteran like Kumble with much ease. Not to forget Hashim Amla and Mark Boucher who toiled hard in the sun an made a well deserved 159 and 70 respectively. Amla was so unlucky to get for a suicidal run out which was fully master minded by Dhoni. Once Amla left, it was down to Boucher to hang on and he did that in a laudable way. I was hoping for at least one wicket for my 150bucks. In the middle the runs were not flowing and players to were down with energy and i was also sleeping!!!

Boucher was given company by Morne Morkel, though his technique was bit erratic. The southpaw made a good contribution to the South African total. Harbhajan was duly rewarded for his tiresome effort with a five wicket haul.

The the last 2 hours was the most exciting part of the match. when Viru and Jaffer came out to bat, there were all around cheers and the cheers were not let down by both of them. Viru was altogether in a ballistic mood and this was evident when he banged Ntini for a six over third man with his trade mark upper cut and Jaffer did the same to Steyn. We were all hoping India would end the day with no man down, thank god they survived on track where once a batsman finds his foot can make merry.

I managed click some snaps before my cam started flashing "low battery". The most pathetic pic was the one here Yuvi was carrying a bucket so sadly.....

But on the whole it was mixed day, a bad beginning was credited with a good opening stand. It all depends on day 3 how much will our men in blue in white flannels will capitalize the good start and a batsman friendly wicket.

Few of the clicks from my cam....don bother abt the date...some technical edge in my came....

IS THE GOVERNMENT SLEEPING???

How long will this reservation strike go on...till all the students die of hunger...what is the government thinking of the students today?...What for these reservations are being implemented?...These reservation only promote laziness among the backward castes... making them think they are sure of a admission to a top notch university even with a satisfactory mark...

This reservation will be a welcome cushion to all those backward castes...but what abt the forward castes...what wrong did they do...just because they are born as a "FORWARD"...do they need to be pushed "BACKWARD" on all fronts...

Its true...they have been suppressed by the other caste...dats way back in the century...for that they have enjoyed all the comfort of the present reservation schemes...but how long should this continue...its high time we think of a caste less society...we just say we are in 21st century but still we segregate people by caste...how stupid are we...??

If these reservations go on increasing...then in a decade or so...it will be the "FORWARD"...who will be pushed back and suppressed...at that time if they ask for these kind of benefits...what will the government do??...again form a cycle of these benefits..???...IDIOTIC!!!!

Already this separation has crept into the government job sector...why cant they education alone???...just because i am born in a forward community should i have to deprived of a good university i have legitimately earned...and just because a person is born in a backward caste and has a score less than me...get into the university which denied me!!!!...

This got to change...we are thinking of becoming a superpower in 2020!!!...but we don't want to say a goodbye to our caste system and give even more comforts...then why the hell brain drain wont occur...

c'mon our dear president...wheres your voice on this...even u came through sheer merit and excellence...please!! roll back this reservation policy...let this country be all of one religion...
that we all are INDIANS!!!!

Is Back Pedalling in Time Possible?

That day i went to my school library and just took a book in a casual manner and was really not in a mood to try some magazines. So the obvious choice was fiction. The book i took was nothing but the "THE TIME MACHINE" by H.G.WELLS . On seeing the cover i thought "Heck!!! wat a crap is this book....TIME and MACHINE... ???what!!! They don't have any correlation in between them".Albeit i made a harsh cliche on the book, i have made my choice so started reading at brisk pace.

It was a one hour period by the end of the period i went it to the story so much that i forgot to go to the next class, then my mam asked me to windup. But one good thing was we can take any book to our home and keep it for a week or so and then return.Thanking heavens i took the book and went to the next class.
After i reached home i started reading the book without even refreshing myself.By 9'o' clock that night i finished the book.Gosh!!By the end i was so affected by the way the fiction paced itself. To a 7th standard boy who thought "What TIME and MACHINE got to do with each other",the book came in as a surprise and took my thoughts away in rather bizarre manner.

By the end of the story i really started believing "TIME TRAVERSAL" is possible.
With that thought hovering in my mind i came to the end of secondary education. At that time i made even more study about the time traveling. When i juxtaposed all my thoughts i found myself something alarming!!...

These were my thoughts.....Before the world was created there was no time zones created and all these latitudes and longitudes were created for our benefit to calculate time.So the first possibility that time existed before our pedigree is lost here.We are the one who created time and all the AM and PM.All these are calculated keeping the relative position of sun,if one country can lag in time and another can lead in time it proves some of the future events are happening before some past is happening..i.e. If a country can lead in time relative to another country then it has crossed that past timing before another country has crossed.
These made me think even more, we all know that life is a cycle so the ending and starting of the mans evolution should be the same. Now assume the starting point of the evolution as end and end as the beginning (Since both are same from the above statement). Here now just think a little bit if we are proceeding from the end to the beginning then what are we doing?? ...WE ARE GOING BACK IN TIME!!!!...

But i don't have any evidences to testify my statements. These are just my thoughts which i had been mulling from my school days. There may not be anything like time travel but our memories know no bounds...it can travel in PAST PRESENT AND FUTURE....OR EVEN BEYOND THAT...
End Of Part 1....
